Keeping Current

An important part of being an engineering student is keeping current with the trends - both in society in general and with what's happeing in your speciality. Here I'm giving some pointers to where you can get some good information on what's happening. Some general pointers: Read at least one good daily newspaper. I do know that as a student you are short on money, but today many newspapers has a free online edition with the most important headlines. Visit one or two websites catering to the internet nerds. The best of them also offer news on IT-politics, science and other interesting things of interest for nerds like us. Seek out some websites with in-depth information on what you are interested in studying. You are on your own here, but Google (and their competitors) is your friend, as I usually say.
